Rosaria C. Mennella (nee Colletti), a devout Roman Catholic, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on June 5, 2024 at age 95. Beloved wife of the late John S. Mennella. Mother with boundless love for Julia, B. Joseph, Angela (Michael) Sopko, John (Christine), Concetta (Charles) Zasso, and baby Bernadette who preceded her in death. Proud grandmother of Jessica (Matthew), Caroline (Michael), Alexander (Jessica), Michael (Lauren), Julia (Jonathan), Matthew, and Sarah, and great grandmother of Zoe, Colette, Charles, and Eleanor. Dear daughter of the late Dominic and Angeline Colletti and cherished sister of Concetta (Robert) Hicks and Angela Colletti. Dedicated Chicago public school teacher/guidance counselor for more than 25 years. Fond cousin, aunt, godmother, and genuine friend of many.
