Donald Taylor OBITUARY

Donald Taylor, age 95, formerly of Marion, Illinois passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024. He was born on February 2, 1929 in Springfield, MO to George and Abbie Taylor. He was a Navy Veteran and a retired Waukegan Firefighter. Don worked for Lake County Movers/Bekins in Waukegan, IL. He loved camping and fishing along Wolf River in WI. He is survived by his children; Denise (Craig) Krohn of Winthrop Harbor, IL, Gary Taylor of Winthrop Harbor, IL, Dale Taylor of Berkeley, IL, Lois (Keith) Andrews of Henderson, NV, Glen (Laura) Taylor of Marion, IL and Teresa Jones of Waukegan, IL. step son James Jackson of Debary, FL; 21 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by spouses Cora and Dorothy, his daughter Shirley. Services will be held at the American Legion Post 147 in Marion, Illinois.
