Andre Rashad Williams OBITUARY

February 12, 1990 – May 31, 2024

Andre “Rashad” Williams age 34, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on May 31st. Andre affectionately known as “Rashad” was born in East Chicago, Indiana to Anthony Williams and Gina Desadier. Andre graduated from West Side High School in 2008. In 2011 Andre proudly enlisted into the military where he would earn a certificate in carpentry and masonry. Andre received several medals of honor including one for his time in Afghanistan. Andre was a kind, gentle, bubbly person who was also very shy. Andre’s smile would lighten up any room and brighten up everyone’s day. Andre was a proud and devoted father; his kids were his greatest joy. Andre was always a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. Words alone cannot express how much Andre will be missed. Andre is preceded in rest by his grandparents Lillie & Clarence Williams and Ernestine & Robert Fleets and brother Neil Worley. Andre leaves to cherish his memory and legacy of love to his children Heaven, Andre Jr, and Jaylen (all of Indianapolis, IN), his parents Anthony Williams (Minneapolis, Ann) and Gina (Alton) Desadier (Indianapolis, In), brother Anthony (Shametra) Williams Jr. (Gary, In), sister Arlette Williams (Indianapolis, IN) bonus brother Tre Desadier (Indianapolis, In), nieces Kiara Williams (Indianapolis, IN) Ayla & Ava Ervin (Indianapolis, IN) and a host of other loving friends and family. Visitation will be held at the Guy & Allen Chapel 2959 W. 11th Ave., Gary, In on Friday June 14th from 9-11am & funeral service @ 11. Internment at Evergreen Memorial Park in Hobart, IN.
