Gary E Stuart OBITUARY

Gary E. Stuart 75, of Glendora, California passed away May 28, 2024 at home after a brief illness. He was born May 26, 1949 to the late V. Rodney and Judith (Anderson) Stuart. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Rita (Berg). Also surviving are son Peter Stuart (Rebecca) and grandsons Zachary and Nathan, son Thomas Stuart (Roseanne), and granddaughters, Sofia and Christina, daughter Tina Overstreet (Cory) and granddaughter Chloe, and daughter Kathy Roberts (Tim) and grandchildren Caleb, Ava, Josiah, and Ella. He is survived by a sister Vonny Stuart, one uncle and several cousins.

Gary was born and grew up in Aurora, Illinois. He graduated from East Aurora High School in 1967 and from NIU in 1972. He first started selling office furniture at All-Steel and later was transferred to California as the national sales manager for Brown Jordan casual furniture.

Gary loved drama and musical theater beginning in high school and later as a parent volunteer at the Aurora Park District and West Aurora High School, where his kids were involved. Gary was a great cook and loved cooking and grilling for family gatherings.
