Titus Demoyne Hazelett OBITUARY

Titus D. Hazelett was born in Gary, Indiana on September 11, 1959 to his parents, John (deceased) and Edna Hazelett. Titus was one of 5+1 children. Titus was a proud graduate of the Class of 1978, at West Side High School in Gary, Indiana. Titus retired from the Indiana Street Factory business at both (Inland Steel and US Steel) as an Expert Roller with over 40 years of service. Titus went on to marry his wife, Anglecia Hazelett in 2009 and settled in Michigan City, Indiana as their home. Raised a true Baptist man, Titus was a ray of sunshine to all who knew him. His infectious laughter and love of family stood at the forefront of his being. He would not hesitate to lend a helping hand. Titus enjoyed raising and raising exotic fish (Discus) and if you were ever looking for him during his retirement, he would be with his fish. Titus enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, woodworking, Sci-Fi movies, and riding his motorcycle. He is survived by his wife Anglecia (Terry) Hazelett of Indiana, children Tre’Von Hazelett of New Hampshire, Deon White of Texas, Gordon Terry of Indiana, Ashante Malone of Indiana, mother Edna Hazelett of Indiana, siblings Melvin Mcphearson (Deceased0 of Texas, Willie Hazelett on Indiana; Sonya Hazelett of Delaware, Patrick Hazelett of Texas and Clinton Hazelett of Mississippi, grandchildren Daiveyon, Camya, Abel, Deon, Ahmari, Keleal and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. all services at Guy & Allen Chapel 2959 West 11th Avenue. Rev. Marty L. Henderson officiating. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park.
